All right, update on movie watching.
Saw Prince Caspian on Thursday, for free can you believe it?
It was some screening to raise funds for Digestive diseases. Constipation etc etc..(you know, anything to do with your grand canyon....)
Third row from the front, to the right, worse than most movie experiences, but it was free. Besides, we only sat there cause SOMEONE! had strong objections to sitting on the floor at the back.
Th movie\s everything you can expect from a kid's film. Annoying acting, cutesy characters with no hint of intelligence, happy ending, uncomfortable romantic bit, repetition, something about 'true friends' and crap. Oh, and highly censored battle scenes. Basically, it's like Narnia 1, but way worse. Well, at least there's blood this time.
Ben Barnes is not too bad in the film, but he doesn't really leave any impast on you what so ever. Cause he seems pretty two dimensional. As did the rest of the characters. INCLUDING Reepicheep, that bloody rodent who probably was th inspiration for equally boring puss in boots.
But that's not to say people won't like this film. It's just not good enough for me. Come on, it's expected.
