Just had a sleepover at Winona's house. And since it was a SLEEPover, needless to say we rarely got any snooze time. We saw Hot fuzz again, to Winona's delight, and I introduced her to the miracle that was(is) Indiana Jones. and the Raiders of the lost ark. And we continued the saga a few hours later with Temple of doom. She wasn't so happy with the horrible mandarin-cantonese. But c'mon. It's hilarious. Though she liked the films, I doubt I've converted her into a Ford fan. Ah well.
Saw The Dark Knight again yesterday, and now I have a better understanding of the film. It was still good, still scared the shit out of me. And everyone else in the theatre. Okay I'll admit it's not Bale's fault he wasn't very interesting this time. It's harder for the good guys!
Also watched Mummy 3, which....sucked. What's the point of hiring Jet Li if you're hardly ever gonna use his full potential?! And newcomer Luke Ford just doesn't have enough charisma for him to get away with "cocky,dashing man". At least I think that's what he was pushing for. It came out arrogant twit. He ain't no Harrison. Maria Bello does a solid job as Eve, but she's just not...as sweet as Rachel Weisz. Bah.
Homework's really piling up. Tempers are flaring in the classroom, and there's only so much the students can take before one of us hits the wall. I'll bet I'll be the first to flare.
