I didn't get the scholarship. Which was expected and all hope was not lost for they gave a book award of 50 bucks.
But explain something to me though, the prize for being top in English language and Literature in my Secondary school only fetched me 30 bucks altogether. Yet I failed an interview and was given 50 dollars as a "consolation prize"? Something is clearly wrong here.
Elsewhere on the academic catastrophies trophy board, my script for the adapted film project for Location Video production was so terrible it needed a total do over from scratch. Not the greatest feeling. Especially for a film fan.
The group also got a C for Marcomm group project, which pretty much put the final nail in the coffin, as I'm sure my common test grade will be none too spectacular. Great.
On a brighter note, I've finally completed the GraphComm assignments due tomorrow, all that's left is to get all the materials needed and to print out everything, and find a nice cardboard box to spend the rest of my poly life in, as all my life savings are slowly sucked dry by the expensive costs of Poly life. As if the mere concept wasn't bad enough, but having to fork out a week's worth of allowance to submit the homework is enough to want to start a hunger strike so money is not spent on creature comforts like canteen lunch. Fuck man. What exactly are we paying 2000 bucks for if we have to buy everything for school? Ah SCREW the living guts out of you. I'm not buying your textbooks for modules I have no interest in.
